Hey! So if you didn’t know I was diagnosed with 2 types of candida, 2 types of bacteria, Ebstein Barr Virus and Lyme Disease all at once. I usually resort to neutral colors in my outfits but wearing a pop of this neon green changes it all. Hello! I made this cake for my mom’s birthday and it was a hit. I gotta be honest, it’s not everyones cup of tea because it’s not a normal flavor combo but its amazing. I am all about the duo in baking. First off, I was on a time crunch so I used this cake mix as the base.
You are probably wondering how I got the lemon and lavender flavor. If you don’t have any essential oils, uhm hello, what are you doing with your life? Kidding, really though, you need them. If not, squeeze fresh lemon juice into your mixer bowl with the cake mix! For the lavender you can soak this culinary lavender in your choice of milk on the stove. Once the milk starts to steam pour the lavender into the milk and let it steep. Once you have your desired flavor, let the milk cool and strain out the lavender bits.
I have contemplated what to say and how to go about saying what my life looks like right now for a while right now. I am elated with entering 2019 but I also never thought that I would be writing this post today. I can’t tell you how many messages I receive on how to deal with a broken heart after a breakup. Well friends, this is the moment where the girl with all of the words had to soak in her own advice. This is a breakup for NYE.
Hey guys! I know I haven’t been on here much but I am determined to bring my heart back here on my blog in 2019! I was Christmas shopping and wanted to share some of my favorite things that have been in my cart all year as well as current products that I am loving. I created a products round up and linked some pieces for you for some inspiration! I have been in the process of redoing my apartment as well as educating myself more and more each day in the kitchen with food and supplements! I didn’t know what to ask for this year so one of my things was a mini waffle maker. I love how Christmas gift shopping can start and ignite new passions!
