RECIPE

HEALTHY DONUTS | DAIRY FREE | GLUTEN FREE | LOW SUGAR

1/2-1 Cup of Cacao Powder

1/2-1 Cup of Sugar: I used Coconut Sugar

1/2 Cup of Almond Flour

1/3 Cup of Coconut Oil (Melt First)

1/4 Cup of Your Choice of Dairy Free Milk: I  used Almond Milk

6 Eggs

1-3 Tablespoons of Protein Powder: I  used this Vanilla Vegan Protein

1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda

1 Teaspoon of Pink Himalayan Salt

TIME TO BAKE

  1. Preheat over to 350F.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl or any mixer. Combine until all ingredients are completely mixed and the consistency is smooth. If the batter seems super watery, that is normal.
  3. Grease donut pans with coconut oil and then begin to pour the batter into the donut pans halfway full. This will leave room for them to rise.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes but check around 5-7 minutes. They will continue to bake through once you remove them from the oven.
  5. FROSTING: This part is optional. Mix powdered sugar with almond milk or any dairy free milk of your choice until the mixture is liquified. Dip the top of the donuts into the glaze topping once the donuts are cool. Top with whatever toppings that you want and let all donuts dry!

It’s time to EAT.
